(More customer reviews)I ordered these cleat pontoons to see if they would keep my cleats from hitting my brand new tile floor. This they did. Even though my cleats are not Shimano nor the model these pontoons are only supposed to fit. I fit these pontoons to a set of Crank Brothers cleats mounted on Pearl Izumi Vagabound R3 road shoes. The right pontoon worked fine from day one but I had to modify the left pontoon a bit to get it to work with my Eggbeater pedals. Essentially I had to carve out a crescent shaped relief in the left pontoon so the cleat had room to engage the pedal. Once that was done these definitely are worth the small investment to allow some amount of walking around in road shoes without slipping or damaging tiles with metal cleats.

M858 pedals are only compatible with SH52 cleats. M-R is multi release, S-R is single release.
