(More customer reviews)After getting my new commuter bike (Cannondale Quick 4) the first thing I did was get rid of the stock saddle. I had to wear padded shorts to get any comfort while riding, not sure if it was the seat or my unconditioned behind, probably a little of both.
After receiving the Selle seat I promptly installed it and took off for a 10 mile ride. I did notice a more comfortable feel but I wasn't overly impressed at first.
Although, after using the Selle SMP for a number of weeks now I find it to be much better than the original seat, I have less numbness when riding for extended distance. Also, I ride most of the time without any added padding and I'm feeling just fine, not sure if I'm getting conditioned or whether the seat made the difference, again, probably a bit of both...
Overall, I think its a good purchase, just give it a little break-in time before you decide how you'd rate this item...
