(More customer reviews)I had a bike rebuilt and this is the seatpost they used. I liked it so much that I bought another for my training bike. At first I was a bit concerned about the "zero" totally upright angle as I have had back problems and on other bikes had switched to Thudbuster ST suspension seatpost to help dampen "road vibration". I've also used a Ti Moots seatpost, but the EC90 is great and I nolonger have to use the Thudbuster. I must say that I also ride with Selle An-Atomica "suspension" saddles and these are GREAT as you can ride mile after mile in comfort. The EC90 and the SAA saddle make for one wonderful combo. I've been able to increase my long rides from the 40s to the low 60s miles...with no back pain. When I was in the shop as they were rebuilding my bike there was a person with a cracked carbon seatpost and the EC90 is the one they replaced the cracked one with. The rear of the EC90 is flat for added strength where the seatpost clamp applies pressure. So far have a little over 1,000 miles on the post with no problems.

If you're allergic to metal, we recommend the all-carbon, zero-offset Easton EC90 Zero Seatpost to reduce the risk of hives. You can consider its absurdly light 160-gram weight and superhero strength as side benefits to treating your odd condition. The EC90 Zero's lack of offset brings you closer to the bars and further forward over the bottom bracket, improving your sprint position and correcting the slack seat tube angles found on some older frames.Product Features
