This tire never ceased to amaze me - roots, rocks, climbs, descents - it swallowed up everything it encountered. Even short stretches of mud it handled with aplomb.
In a lighter sidewall construction, it'd probably make a great race tire, it rolled so fast on typical singletrack.
Amazingly, it was standard equipment on department store bikes for years, but it is a much better all-round tire than most bike-store bike standard equipment.
If you can find one, you won't be disappointed.
