(More customer reviews)I read many reviews while looking for the right basket for my bike, Miss Daisy. I have a 3 Speed Cruiser and use it to ride around the neighborhood. I needed a basket for several items I carry when I ride to our neighborhood fitness center. It is able to hold a water bottle, cell phone, bike lock, iPod, my reading glasses and sometimes I wedge a book in it.
I didn't want a large basket but I needed something big enough for the above mentioned items I usually carry around when bike riding. It is deep and fits nicely on my bike with two wide leather straps. The straps go around the bike handlebars and do not interfere with the wires for my gears.
It is sturdy and stays in place when I go down curbs. The basket is well made and stained a nice soft white.
It is a great basket for my bike and looks like a basket an adult would have even though it is small. It gives my purple bike an added touch of class :).
