A lightweight brake utilizes dual pivot design which provides maximum braking power. The SCR-3 uses a sleeved coil return spring which provides smooth response over the complete range of braking. The SCR-3L, for bikes needing greater tire clearance. The SCR-3 arms are cold forged aluminum for strength. Most hardware is stainless steel for maximum durability in the elements.

Pyramid Road Aero Bicycle Levers-Pair Review

(More customer reviews)These levers are not super-duper light (return-spring mechanism built in for example) but they are sturdy. Used them for a rebuild of a 80's steel bike that had non-aero brake levers. Works great, has a solid return snap (thanks to the built-in spring so no longer are you only relying on the brake calipers spring tension) and the feel/shape of the hoods are just like those good old days before this STI thing took over the world...
