(More customer reviews)This saddle came stock on my new Surly, but I had a nice Brooks for the Surly, so I put it on my winter beater (an old Cannondale hybrid) that had a worn out cheap Bonty saddle that I never really liked.Wow! This is a nice smooth and comfy saddle. It doesn't have very thick padding, but most thick padding just compresses over time and in the end is usually harder on the rear end than a thin layer of high quality foam over a good shape.
The unique shape of this saddle and the smooth cover allow for good movement without catching on clothing or chafing. The odd drop nose keeps the male anatomy comfortable while still providing appropriate support for that general area. The width is just right for my sit bones, which is the real key to finding the right saddle.
It seems well built, and the other reviews I read would seem to confirm that it is durable.
Four stars cause it isn't as nice as the Brooks, but hey, it is less than half the cost at retail!
