If you can stomach the color, these toe straps offer a welcomed respite from the $30+ double toe straps commonly seen on the market. They do not slip, come with sufficient instructions, and are leather. The simplicity of the product is making it hard for me to think of anything to say. Two thumbs up (out of two)?

(More customer reviews)I bought these pedals expecting it to follow the same quality as origin 8, a brand I've always had good experiences with, but no.
I liked the colors and the style of it, it's a well designed platform and strap pedal.
When I put it on my bike it worked fine for a few rides, but then I started to hear a creaking. I knew immediately it was coming from the pedals, I could feel the vibrations in my foot. I took the pedals off and tried some other ones to make sure and I was right.
If you buy these you run the risk of
A. poorly lubricated pedal bearings (which you can't fix)
B. creaky pedals

(More customer reviews)I ride my bike to work. It's an eight mile ride so I don't change clothes, I just bike in with whatever I'm wearing to the office. I wear dress shoes and these clips really allow me climb hills without scuffing or wearing out my nice shoes. I find that I'm also able step out of these at a red light with ease.
They only took a few minutes to attach to my pedals. I've been using them for about eight weeks with no trouble.
When I'm really climbing, I can feel the flex of the plastic. This doesn't present a problem for me, but I suspect a serious mountain biker would probably want something more rigid. But for riding to work; these are a great fit.

(More customer reviews)The Wellgo RO-25B toe clip peddles are a high quality peddle. However, the chrome toe clip marked with a "W" is only 2" deep. My shoe size is only a 9 and still I was peddling with my toes. I ended up buying a larger clip for an additional $10.50. It all works great now.

(More customer reviews)I have hunted all over for toe clips that will fit a slightly larger shoe, as a lot of the ones with double top pieces are too inflexible to ever fit a larger shoe.
These very easily can be bent to fit a larger toe/shoe. They hold the shape well.
They are plastic, of course, but keep their shape anyway.
You will get a little less support because of the single top bar over your shoe, but it is still plenty of support and the important part is the very front not the part on the top of the shoe.
If you are having any trouble getting toe clips to fit your shoes, these are an excellent solution for a larger or thicker shoe.
Recommended.

(More customer reviews)I got this pair of pedals with clips yesterday from my local bike shop to replace older wellgo pedals (lu 209). The plastic clips broke after 4 years of riding year round. These pedals are much nicer than lu-209 --- lighter and the bearings are sealed. I am not completely happy with the plastic clips, but the shop doesn't carry the model with the metal clips. Oh, and the pedals are sitting on a Bianchi Volpe, which I use for commuting to work.

These are the first pair of pedals I've used that have toe clips, so I can't compare them to others. I wear a size 11 shoe and these fit great. Adjustment is easy and they stay where you put them. Good value. Oh, and I've used these in snowy conditions and they've worked well (commuting), easy to get your feet out when you need to not fall over.

Most are usually nylon which is impossible to get into on a fixed gear bike, whereas most metal ones are such flimsy metal, they break within a couple weeks of riding.
