(More customer reviews)These omni directional cleats work great. They are silver in color vs. the std black that come with shimano spds. (The std black cleats are mono directional - you have to twist laterally to release from the pedal.) I feel more confident about unclipping from my spd pedals when I need to without worrying about twisting my foot in a specific direction. I highly recommend these cleats for anyone concerned about unclipping quickly.

M858 pedals are only compatible with SH52 cleats. M-R is multi release, S-R is single release.
