Progressive arthritis in the hip means riding in the drops was getting more and more uncomfortable. I switched from the standard FSA Omega bars to these Omega Compact bars and the difference is striking. Now I find myself riding in the drops much longer than before the switch. As an added bonus, these bars make it easier to brake and shift as my STI levers are now closer.
Only word of caution is that the bar ends for the Compact are longer than the original bars so I occasionally whack my knees on the bar ends when out of the saddle. I hacksawed 3/4 of an inch off each bar end and that's improved things.
