I bought this prodcut for my mountain bike and I cannot even believe someone manufactures a false stuff like this.
It cannot even hold the weight of my bike and bends out to side and eventually my bike falls.
I tried to adjust the distance between the two archs to fit the tire width to see if I get better result but no luck.

(More customer reviews)I use this rack in my apartment to keep my bikes away from rain and thieves. I like that this rack requires no wall-drilling and keeps bikes flat against the wall (rather than sticking out like those racks that hang bikes by their front wheels.) I'm very impressed with its stability, considering the rack itself is pretty light. There's only one contact point with the wall, which has a big, rubber end (like the two feet) so it won't scratch or mark. The feet stick to my carpeted floor quite securely, and my guess is that they'd work well on noncarpeted surfaces, too. The hooks that hold up your bike have a generous, rubbery coating, so they won't scratch up your frame. I keep two bikes on the rack, with my regular commuter on the lower one, and the rack is quite stable, even when only the upper bike is on it. For those of you who care, the rack is manufactured in China, so I'm sure Delta's making a fortune, but I had lots of trouble finding a U.S.-made alternative.

(More customer reviews)I really wanted this product to work. Its very well made - german engineering. The concept is great - nothing to drill in the walls.
I read the other reviews, and understand why some like and some didn't like. I spent several hours over three days, and discovered that it depends on the surfaces you are installing it on (ceiling and floor). If you are putting this on carpet, with a textured ceiling - something for it to grab onto - it works. If you are putting it on a smooth concrete floor (in your garage, for example), or a smooth piece of wood (like in an unfinished ceiling in your garage), the stand doesn't grip tight enough and tends to move slightly. Under the weight of bikes, and with vibration from the garage door opener, it can fall over.

Gear Up Grand Stand Single Bike Floor Stand Review

(More customer reviews)Simply put, I don't feel comfortable parking my road bike on this. I purchased this GrandStand to park my road bike properly in the garage rather than lean it against the wall. But after using it a couple of times I noticed the stand holds the bike in vertical position by the spokes. There is just too much lateral pressure on the spokes especially that the bike tends to go slightly to one side or the other and you can see the spokes temporarily bending by the weight of the bike. There is another thing that I've noticed, depending on the bike derailleur and what gear it's in, when parking the bike with the rear tire, the stand might get between the derailleur and the spokes, pushing the derailleur away from the tire. This might potentially harm the derailleur.
Not wanting to feel that I've wasted my purchased, I tried to use it with my cheap mountain bike, but quickly realized the heavy mountain bike would put even more pressure on the spokes than the road bike.

(More customer reviews)I am very pleased with this bike holder. The shipping was quick, and it's free! This is the perfect space saver for a small area. It was very easy to install; it took maybe 10 minutes. You just turn the pole and it secures itself to the ceiling and the floor, screw on the bike rests and you're done! No screws are necessary though the rack does have holes for them should you choose to attach it that way. We have two bikes on it and there's no problem with the weight. If you bump it the bikes will swivel a bit so there is a little give in it. The one piece of advice that I could give is to make sure that you are hitting a beam in the ceiling before you screw it in tightly. We almost made a hole in the ceiling before we checked. Delta Rothko Rolling Bicycle Stand Review

(More customer reviews)The stand assembles in around 10-15 minutes, depending on if you know which pre-drilled holes to use or not. The build quality is reasonable, but the bolts for the casters don't all fit screw in evenly. This doesn't affect the functionality, but seems like something that shouldn't be an issue w/ today's manufacturing technologies.
The casters are great, allowing some movement of the bike and stand without removing the bike.
The only areas of improvement are maybe some better design or feature that further prevents the wheel from tipping/leaning in either direction. Preferably a simple machining or stamping solution as part of the regular manufacturing process that doesn't increase the price would be best.
Compactness is good, too. I have 6 bikes in the garage, and they all store neatly next to each other.
Value, convenience, and size are this stand's strong points.

(More customer reviews)The item description is misleading. I have a mountain bike - Raleigh Mojave 5.0 and this rack does NOT accommodates the tires. The top rack is design to tilt at a slight angle to hold the tire firmly but it is not tilted enough to accomodate my regular mountain bike's tire. Eventually I have to bent the hook down in order to muscle my tire onto the hook. But it was a pipe construction so the structure integrity is compromised this way (you don't really want to bent the metal pipe and expect it to hold the same weight). If you have a "phat, chunky mountain tires", DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. Guarantee you'll regret it.

Racor PBS-2R Two-Bike Floor Bike Stand Review

(More customer reviews)I've had this stand for over a year now. Took about five minutes to get it together. Held my 26" mountain bike just fine. I recently bought a new 26" MTB with disc brakes. The good news is that the disc rotors 'just barely' clear the support arms on this stand. You do have to futz with the bike's position on the stand a bit or the bike will 'lean' slightly on the rotor, but it isn't that hard to make it work. The bad news is that the support arm pairs are too close together to allow two mountain bikes of the same frame size to coexist peacefully in the same orientation. With front wheels inserted into the frame the handlebars clash big time. It works better if one bike has the front wheel in the frame and the other the rear wheel. The handlebar of one bike will still contact the seat of the other bike, but a simple turn of the handlebar on the outward-facing bike fixes this. This stand was obviously designed for two road bikes side-by-side, not MTBs. It would probably also be OK with two bikes of different frame sizes. Other than that, though, it's plenty sturdy and works well.
