(More customer reviews)We just bought this bike for our almost 4 year old son who has been riding a Strider balance bike (also bought on Amazon) for the past year. The Strider is a 10" wheel bike so we thought moving up to a 12" with pedals would be best for him rather than the BIG just to a 16". It came packaged securely and in perfect condition. My husband put it together last night (without the training wheels) in about 15 minutes and our son rode it for the first time this morning. It's light and easy to ride. So far it seems GREAT! The only thing it is lacking that I wish it has is a kickstand.

(More customer reviews)My wife & I are avid cyclists, so for my son's 9th birthday, we bought him his own road bike! I am very pleased with the bike! I am somewhat of a bike mechanic, so putting it together was very easy, and simple. I did however, have to adjust the brakes, and now they work wonderfully. I also added brake levers on the handle bars (cross inline levers), and that was a great safety net. I also replaced the two tires with 24" x 1" wheel chairs tires, and tubes, and they fit and work wonderfully. All total, I have spent less than $175.00 on his road bike, and We are very pleased with it!

Barbie Ride with Me Barbie Bicycle Review

(More customer reviews)Ok, so I want to make it very clear that I am not reviewing shipping. The box came pristine. No dents, tears, or other marks of rough treatment. The way the bike lays in the box during shipping is fine, the fork is laid flat so I can't figure a way being crushed during shipping could be at play.
So the kids have gone to bed, mom is taking the presents out of the closet to place under the tree. Meanwhile I begin the seemingly easy task of assembling this bike. It's really simple. Put on the seat, the handlebars, and the front tire. Buuuuut there's a huge problem: the front fork of the bike is pinched. It's about an INCH too narrow to allow the connection of that front tire. Living in an apartment with no access to a machine shop I have no tools or equipment to bend this thing back into position, especially at 10pm. It's a total show stopper for this gift.
Everything about the bike seems to be of decent build quality. It has a few more things to put together than the other kids bikes I've assembled.
I'll update this review if the replacement bike is so stellar that it overrides the failed xmas morning. My advice is to open this thing up as soon as you get it and assemble it to make sure it's going to go smoothly for you. If its not you'll need time to order and receive a replacement.

Mantis Girls' Maya Bike (16-Inch Wheels) Review

(More customer reviews)This seems to be a decent quality bike for our 5 year old. My husband is a professional bike builder and technician and he put the bike together in less than 30 minutes. It has a decent headset and wheels with real tires, which was important to my husband. My daughter loves it and it is pretty cute. It is a girl bike without being too girly. The white tires are very cute. We hope this bike will last a few years for our daughter.
