(More customer reviews)The bike arrived with two screws and one nut missing. They are metric but I was able to replace them at Lowes. After that, the fenders took some extra time but not difficult. Nice bike, rides smoothly and the gearing is just right for me.

(More customer reviews)First let me start by saying that yes, these pedals do work. They were almost exact replacements for my Free Spirit 10-speed. That being said I was very unhappy to see that the bearings in the pedal are practically fully exposed, so if you plan on riding in some bad weather, these pedals will get shot quick. I tried to at least temporarily fix the problem by coating them in heavy grease, and that so far has worked ok.
I wouldn't buy these pedals again. Spring the extra $10 and get something of substantially higher quality.
