(More customer reviews)Not a bad wheel similar to all the other super deep v wheels out there. Good Velocity marketing posting on Blogs to promote wheel. I never heard of Velocity until the fixed gear craze. I'm not sure what events they sponsor or what Pro Teams use their products. Pretty colors but I would think they would use anodizing to justify their higher costs rather than candy colored powder coating. I would also think they would source a hub manufacturer that wasn't in Asia. The other Deep V wheel manufacturers are Asia based so if Asia can make a superior hub than Asia can make a superior rim. Velocity supposed to have a great source of aluminum in Australia so I wonder if they use their aluminum to make the hubs?
