(More customer reviews)The pedals are very light and seem strong despite my mashing. I had a cheap pair of no name pedals on my bike before and I literally bent the cages so these seemed like a nice upgrade. They provide a good stable platform and I don't think I could ever bend the cage or the spindle. Both pedals spin smoothly and I like the fact that they are not super expensive and have cartridge bearings. I did notice some excess grease or oil coming out of the seal on the left pedal though and that worries me. Hopefully it is just excess being pushed out and that is all. I will keep an eye on them and redo a review in a couple months or so. Right now I am riding fixed and have a 10 mile commute. My ride is mostly flat in Phoenix, AZ which means ideal conditions most of the time. I have had the pedals for about three months. If they go out, I think I will switch back to clipless as I am becoming more confident in my ability to ride fixed. Overall, they seem to be a simple, strong, and light pedal but the seal on one pedal may be going bad already so I cannot fully recommend them.

Shimano STI shift-boss barrel stops, flat pr Review

(More customer reviews)You need these to convert from downtube shifters to something more modern. I never felt safe reaching down all the time to shift. When coming to a stop i'd often avoid downshifting to a low gear because of this, thus having to be in a high gear out of a stop. Used only one on my 1994 TREK 1220 road bike, for the 7 speed rear. Put a trigger shifter "Shimano STX/Alivio Rapidfire Plus 7-Speed Shifter" on the 7/8"(22.2mm) quill portion of my stem, the shifters mounting bracket can be losened and swiveled to work this way. I left the front chainring as friction shift as the 3 speed indexed trigger shifter didn't seem to match up well enough not to be problematic. I hardly shift out of the middle chainring anyhow. Both of these cable stops have adjustments for cable tension. Highly recomend this product.

(More customer reviews)Not a bad wheel similar to all the other super deep v wheels out there. Good Velocity marketing posting on Blogs to promote wheel. I never heard of Velocity until the fixed gear craze. I'm not sure what events they sponsor or what Pro Teams use their products. Pretty colors but I would think they would use anodizing to justify their higher costs rather than candy colored powder coating. I would also think they would source a hub manufacturer that wasn't in Asia. The other Deep V wheel manufacturers are Asia based so if Asia can make a superior hub than Asia can make a superior rim. Velocity supposed to have a great source of aluminum in Australia so I wonder if they use their aluminum to make the hubs?

(More customer reviews)Inexpensive, and built a little cheaply as well. After removal of the handlebar binder bolt, it did not want to thread back into its hole. How simple is that? But quill stems are rare, so I am thankful that it exists.
