(More customer reviews)This is about the goofiest looking thing you can put on your bike, but since you're a triathlete, you probably gave up long ago caring about what you looked like while on the road.
I have Syntace aerobars and was able to fit the bottle in without any problems. It's odd that it's held in by rubber bands, but they seem to do the trick and it's easily removed if you're going on a shorter ride.
I have to use the yellow meshy things in addition to the black caps - otherwise fluid would splash out all over the place. With the mesh things, I can get about 14oz in the small reservoir and 37oz in the larger one. I wish the smaller reservoir was larger, but it is nice that the smaller reservoir can be completely removed for cleaning.
I also managed to cut my straws too short, so be careful when you are adjusting these.

(More customer reviews)I am pleased to say this product works great. I have a Schwin Hybrid and the bars were a quick easy mount. The equipment arrived in excellent condition as well.
Contents:
2 handle bars
2 aluminum clamps
2 arm rests
1 bag of shims
I put these aero bars directly on my mountain bike style handle bars. It was easy. The clamps have enough play to adjust them however you like. It requires two different size allen wrenches.
The only drawback is the length on the handle bars seem a little short for me. I am 6 ft so these may work well for someone with a shorter frame.
All in all I am very pleased for the price!

Profile Design Profile Century Clip on Bars Review

The glue on the pads wasn't good enough and one of the pads fell off after a year or so. The design of the elbow cups does not give these bars a secure feel. Comparing this bar to a Syntace bar (C2) that I purchased on closeout is like comparing a department store bike to a real road bike. They both work, but the design, quality, weight, comfort, and secure feel is sometimes worth extra money.
The other Profile products I have owned - three stems, an older aerobar, and bottle holder all had issues.The stems weighed more than the advertised weight and pressed unevenly on the headset bearings. The old aerobar adjustment mechanism wasn't secure, and the older, behind-the-seat bottle holder could not hold the angle of the bottles.

(More customer reviews)If you are not sure about investing in a full TT bike then this is a good piece to try out and see if a TT setup is for you. The finish and look of the bars is sexy, personally carbon always looks good. The assembly is straight forward. A word of caution check your horizontal bar diameter. Some handlebars have a larger diameter at where the stem and handlebar meet, from here it'll taper to a smaller diameter. If you intend to mount the bars close to the stem it will not hold because of this taper. Shims are provided but don't really help much. Other issues to be aware of is that it's a bolted clamp assembly which if you apply enough load to the bar it'll move. These are overall a good alternative to a TT bike.

Profile Design T2+ Review

(More customer reviews)I was in the market for some clip-on aerobars to help improve my cycling time in bi's/du's/tri's. My initial research found clip-on's in the range of $30 to well over $400. I wanted to stay in the lower range for my first try and came across these. The reviews were fairly good on these so I pulled the trigger and ordered them.
They arrived and had a box full of extra's that for me weren't necessary for the installation. There were instructions in the box, but it's really pretty straight-forward putting them on your bicycle. Within 20 mins I had them on the bike and ready for a ride. The aerobars performed admirably, especially for the price. There are two reasons I didn't give them 5/5 stars. First being the padding, simple velcro straps keep them in place and they work just fine, though some improvements could be made. The other thing is that not all the adjustments can be made without impacting other adjustments. I wanted to adjust the vertical angle of the forearm rests and in order to do so, you have to remove the padding, and the forearm rests themselves to get to the hex nut that controls the angle. There is also a minute horizontal forearm adjustment that can be made by rotating the forearm rests while the two hex nuts that hold it in place are loose. So the big complaint there is that I wish I could make individual adjustments without impacting some of the other tweaks I've made. Once you've got all the the adjustments made it's not a big deal and I wouldn't consider this a show stopper for the aerobars.
Overall the areobars do what you expect them to, and once fitted properly are comfortable and durable. For this price you can't expect much more.

Easton Attack TT Aero Road Bike Handlebar Review

I find the bar a little to narrow (even in size large) and the elbow holders to uncomfortable for long distance TT, anything up to 20 - 30 miles is fine. But the bar was intended to be used for the track, not the road, for that it is perfect.
Pricy though, but seems well made.

(More customer reviews)These are quality aerobars - very light and extremely comfortable (great road dampening effect from the CF). Easy to install (4 total bolts) and align. Some carbon bars (Easton EC 90) say that you should not use these with them - there is concern that you can over-tighten the 4-bolts and crack your handlebars. If you take it easy and don't crank them too much, it should not be a problem. $300 is a lot to spend on these bars and is the only reason that I would not rate them higher.
Also, it is good idea to "fit" these at your local bike store prior to purchasing as they are minimally adjustable.
