(More customer reviews)An all-around good, sturdy bike rack. It's slightly less expensive than the other bike racks on amazon. The product comes with all the installation materials. As for the tools, only a screwdriver is necessary, but a wrench will makes things much easier. You won't need any specialized bicycle tools for this. It took me about 15 minutes to install the entire thing and it fits perfectly on my average-sized road bike. I can lift the entire bike(~25 lbs) by the rack without a hitch. I've yet to come across any problems. My one complaint is that the product does not come with any extra screws, which are easy to lose, so you'll have to be careful not to misplace any of them. Also, you can mount a reflector(not included) on the rear of the rack.
Note: Your bike should have small holes in the rear of the frame specifically for mounting racks or else installing it may be a pain. I think most frames have these holes, but you should check to be safe.

(More customer reviews)I searched all over looking for a good but cheap rack, you cannot beat this product for the price and how well it's built. It has a little hidden tray for a wallet or something, comes with reflector and you can remove it and it's ready to recieve blinking lights,clip ons. Perfect for running to the store, comes with two adjustable rubber straps. Had it on in minutes, comes with different size rubber shims to fit seat post size if you need them and best of all it doubles as a fender and keeps the water from shooting on me. I have 26 inch wheels and I finished it off by getting the little extended fender that Topeak makes for it. (MTX DeFender Bicycle Fender-$5.00) The threaded holes are already in the rack and with the 2 screws that came with the fender, had it on. It sticks out past the rack another 5 inches and total length, Rack and fender from the center of the seat post is 23 1/4 inches. I am very happy with it and it really looks good.

(More customer reviews)I really wanted a Surly "Nice" rack for my LHT but I couldn't pass up this price on this a similar rack. The rack has a very narrow profile so if you intend to use the top of the rack for porting you may want to look elsewhere. I like the tail light feature on this rack because it get my blinkie off my post making easier to put my bike in grips of a repair stand. I also found it hard to find a silver rack but Axiom has several.
