(More customer reviews)I wanted a saddle bag to go over my rear bike rack. I found this product on Amazon and it was what I had been searching for in bike stores. I like the reflector strips on the back. The bag has a durable, black heavy nylon fabric which is easy to clean. You get mud splatters and road dirt from ridding in rain. The bags fit over the rear wheel and hangs down to about the middle of the rear wheel. I put items in the bags when I go out for a day trip. When I stop there are five zippered pockets so I can get things out without unpacking the whole pack. I highly recommend this product.

(More customer reviews)These bags are waterproof- true enough. And they have convenient shoulder straps, etc. But mine constantly fall off my bike....if I hit a bump or something. Maybe they just aren't all the compatible with my bike rack, but I think there is some sort of design flaw that one needs to be aware of when making the choice to buy these.
Also, they somehow seem really small, too. I still use mine everyday, but I have to strap 'em on and pack everything in really tight.
If i knew then what i know now, I would've gone with a different bag.

It measures 12" long, 10" wide and 7" deep. It has a handle for carrying it and is easy to strap it to the rack. However, I leave it on all the time.
It works well with the "Ventura Universal Bicycle carrier rack" (my bike tires are 26 inch.)

The rack has a very narrow profile so if you intend to use the top of the rack for porting you may want to look elsewhere. I like the tail light feature on this rack because it get my blinkie off my post making easier to put my bike in grips of a repair stand. I also found it hard to find a silver rack but Axiom has several.

(More customer reviews)The bag is nice, looks quite durable. However, it has a rigid frame inside that just wouldn't let it fit my Cannondale F5. Also, I'm not sure why, but it has a rather large curved backpack-strap-like piece on it which might get in the way of a water bottle if you have one. The total size of it is pretty big for what it holds, which is a normal sized wallet and keys, cell phone, and thats about it. I gave it to a friend, it fits his bike fine and he likes it. Just take a good look at the angle in the picture and make sure your frame has a similar angle, since it doesn't give you much ability to stretch it to fit.

(More customer reviews)This is a nice solid rack. I was able to adjust it to site fairly far back from my seat, which meant my heels don't hit the grocery panniers I also installed.
The only downside to the product is the lack of an instruction sheet. I downloaded a picture of the rack from the manuf's website brochure ([...]) and printed an enlarged view to see where the parts went.
All you need is a hex/allen wrench and either pliers or a wrench and you're good to go.
