(More customer reviews)I bought this tire when I noticed my rear tire was shot. Bought it, rode it over 250 miles through goat-head infested roads in New Mexico. One flat but the tire itself has kept its integrity. Rolls nice, corners nicely. For the price I don't think it can be beat.

this exceptionally lightweight clincher is basically an open tubular made by hand in italy and available in a few nice colours. its weight is lighter than most racing clinchers out there and because of its minimal material it does wear faster than other tires will but surprisingly it has, after thousands of miles still doing what it does best which is to roll like a professional racing tire should.
very low rolling resistance and very lightweight makes this rubber an absolute pleasure for climbing and acceleration.
fabulous tire.
if you do any urban riding i recommend using these tires with a mister tuffy tube liner to avoid punctures. havent had any problems in that department though so i give this tire my full recommendation.

Conti Ultra Race Review

(More customer reviews)I put 700+ recreational road miles on these tires and there are still many, many miles left in them. They roll great, grip well in dry conditions (I didn't do a lot of wet riding this year so I can't comment on the wet performance) and provide a stable ride mile after mile. No flats or other problems. Overall I'm glad I selected these tires. When they need replacement, I'm definitely putting another set of Contis on my ride.

(More customer reviews)These are fantastic racing tires. They can hold up to 145 psi, and have a higher kevlar count than most other tires in this price range (less flats. They have a very hard and fast feel on the road, but not like a hard cased tire. Also, the Vredestein tubes are great, and you can get them with up to an 80mm stem, perfect for dish rims (i have 404's) because you can get rid of those faulty valve adapters.
