(More customer reviews)My experience is similar to the other reviewers. I fought and fought trying to mount this tire. Two tire levers were broken in the process. Then, after the bleeding subsided on my hands, I decided to put my bike in the trainer and ride. Surprise! The tube was pinched and sprung a leak. It took me another 45 minutes to unmount the tire. After changing the tube, I tried to re mount the tire. My hands started bleeding again. I broke my remaining tire lever. At this point, I swore this tire was created by sinister people who take solace in watching people suffer. I'm also writing a letter to Kenda in an attempt to get my money back.

(More customer reviews)If you can actually get Bell Streetster tires, they are pretty good for tires $10 and under. I bike over 4,000 miles a year, so I've learned which brands last longer. The catch is being able to buy genuine Bell Streetster tires over the web. I made 3 attempts, and had 3 near misses. The first 2 reputable websites (one a national sporting goods chain) had Bell Gumwall tires pictured, but shipped a cheaper blackwall version with partial reflective stripes that went only 1/3 around the tire. The vendor through Amazon in good faith sent what he thought were Bell gumwall tires, but they were actually an unknown foreign brand with Bell wrappers around the tire. The problem was resolved to my satisfaction, but after 3 failed attempts to buy the pictured Bell product over the web, I've decided not to try to do so again in the future.

Continental Ultra Sport Hometrainer Tire Review

(More customer reviews)I spend more time on my CompuTrainer than I care to admit and so far the Continental Hometrainer Tire is the best option that I've found. The tire is quieter and has a better road feel than regular road tires. The tire also leave less tire debris scattered across the room and lasts much, much longer than regular road tires and other trainer tires, such as the Vittoria Home Trainer.
Caveat:
It might be a fluke, but my last Continental Hometrainer was the first time that I've used the black version and it was nearly impossible to mount on the rim. I've probably gone through 6 sets of the yellow version and, although difficult to mount, they were not nearly as hard to mount as the last black version. I'll still give it 5 stars because I won't have to worry about mounting a new tire until sometime next year.

Hutchinson Intensive Tire - Tubeless Review

(More customer reviews)I'm on the large side for a cyclist (almost 6 feet and 200 lbs) and was having trouble with flats about every 100-200 miles with the Hutchinson Fusion 2s and 3s (even with sealant). So I decided to try these and they've been great so far. Because they are a tad wider I dropped the pressure by about 10 PSI and so far, so good. And I have to say the combination of tubeless and slightly lower pressure makes for a really nice ride (we chip-seal roads here and these really cut down on the buzz).

(More customer reviews)Nice tires, good replacements for most newer model kids road bikes. Be sure you get the size right there are several different bead diameters for 24" wheeled kids road bikes. The selection in each of the various sizes is pretty limited. These are some of the better tires I found in the ISO 520 bead diameter. They are on par with lower end adult road tires in the $15-25 price range.

(More customer reviews)Compared to the old stock tires (Maxxis detonator) the performance on dry roads is outstanding; cornering and braking is significantly improved, rolling ressistance is superb. Performance on wet roads is worse than with the aforementioned cheap tires.
If you are a fine weather rider, by all means these will not dissapoint. If you ride rain or shine, get something else.

(More customer reviews)I use these on my fixed gear, which is my primary transportation...and at 2,000+ miles, they're still working great! (I keep them at about 105 PSI, and I'm a 130 pound rider, though I'm usually carrying a 20 pound bag on my back.)
These tires have a bit more weight and friction than road racing tires, but they make up for it with durability. I had one flat at around 50 miles, but none since then. In the meantime, the tires have been exposed to the following things:
- Riding through potholes
- Riding on ice and snow
- Riding over seriously bad pavement in The Ghetto
- Riding on gravel, grass, dirt, and road construction projects
- Jumping off curbs
- Goat head thorns.
For my riding, these tires are a good compromise: they're slick enough to still ride really fast, but they have a bit more substance than road slicks, which makes them safer for real-world conditions (like the things I listed above.) I'm sticking with them.

They are an excellent value for folding tires. they have minimal tread, which i find to be the best for most conditions. Aesthetically they are appealing to those who like plain black tires, and they don't even have a multicolor label. They are also made in japan, which is a plus in my book.

(More customer reviews)The other reviewer was a bit harsh giving the product one star because of the service from Amazon. This is a fantastic tyre. I cycled to work every day (about 9 miles in each direction), and would get a puncture about once every week or two. It was very frustrating.
I bought the Marathon Plus, and haven't had a puncture in over a year and a half, covering more than 3,000 miles. This is a fantastic design, and you would never know it had an anti-puncture foam in it from the ride - it is not spongy or resistant to the road in any way.
Whoever designed it deserves a pat on the back, and beers for life.

VERY difficult to mount, broke a few levers and pinched a couple of tubes trying to mount them (I'll admit I'm not the best at this sort of thing but I'm no wimp either), and had given up on using them (I could see myself fighting to take the tire off the rim and then getting stranded with a couple of pinched tubes and broken levers, Murphy's Law, you know...), read in some bike magazine that if you put the tires in the drier for a minute it makes the tires easier to mount (I had to do this a little longer, first minute was too little for my tires), and this was the case (BUT, do at your own risk, I've been riding the tires for a few hundred miles and it's been fine). Other than this, very fast tire, I'm able to ride with roadies, although I suspect that the rolling resistance is a tad higher than a top road clincher. Be careful on wet downhills, I felt my tires skid a bit (slick and hard, with rain, you can guess how that's going to feel).

(More customer reviews)I'm just getting my bike back in shape for some summer riding and been on these for a month now. This tire suits my needs for something inexpensive and decent quality. No, they aren't racing tires, and you might look elsewhere if you're a daily commuter or like to take your bike on paths...but I'm happy with the way they roll compared to the 8 year old balding Kendas I had before. In case anyone cares about the actual look of the tire, the walls of this tire are yellow/tan, not black, and there is some amount of rubber run-over on the tread, easily handled by a pair of scissors. Tires shipped safe, but there was a delay of a week in shipping. Would I buy them again? Yep.

Panaracer FlatAway Tire Liner Review

They may have prevented some flats, but one time the kevlar material actually cut through the tube causing the flat! When you do get a flat using them, you must "boot" the tire at the puncture site or the new tube will dimple slightly into the tire puncture hole; when that happens the kevlar liner will cut the new tube.
