(More customer reviews)Not a bad seat but I sent it back. Turns out the less padding seat that came with my Raleigh 2 road bike was more comfy than this padded one. Instead of getting a partially soft seat like this, either get some padded shorts like you're supposed to or get the most fluffiest padded gel seat you can find. Anything in between will hurt you in between...lol. This is Raleigh bicycles brand of parts, by the way.

This was the only men's comfort saddle they had at Dick's Sporting Goods, and I wanted something I could see before I bought (not online). Turns out it's not any better than my old seat. The suspension is too squishy for me and the center channel is not deep enough to add much anatomical relief that I could feel. You get what you pay for I guess.

I found SELLE ITALIA SLR Gel Flow saddle and went for it after reading some reviews and looking at the technology+material quality involved. If you're used to recreational-like saddles a minor discomfort will appear during the first rides since you won't find a highly cushioned surface. Once you get used to it, maybe after four or five rides, you won't even feel your SLR saddle. Excellent product!!

After the first day of use, the denim from my pants had stained the majority of the seat light-blue. I purchased the white seat to match the appearance of my bicycle, but by the second day, ended up with a blue seat. It is still a great seat, just watch what color you buy!

(More customer reviews)Typically I'm not a fan of Gel saddles as they only feel comfortable for short trips but then fatigue settles in the seat becomes unbearable, which isn't good on a long ride. This seat is very comfortable and on long rides it can become uncomfortable but getting up off the seat for a few seconds now and then returns you to a very comfortable saddle unlike so many other Gel seats. I was worried about the size as this seat was mounted on a Road bike but it looks great and isn't too big, it is truly the Cadillac of seats. I replaced a $150 Selle Race saddle for this seat and I love the Race saddle but for long trips or just joy rides this is the way to go!

(More customer reviews)I didn't even try to use the Selle saddle that came with my last road bike, even though it was highly rated. My Adamo saddle, properly dialed in ended so many issues: sore sitz bones, inner thigh pain, etc. It's the perfect width for my body. It's padded a little more than most saddles but not overly so. I ride 800-1000 miles a month and really never think about the saddle (legs are another story). SInce the Adamo is a little thicker than many saddles, I had to adjust my seat height accordingly.

(More customer reviews)This seat is lighter than some seat post clamps. It is a beauty, too. However, it is no comfort queen. This was expected. Hopefully, as I ramp up the mileage in the spring, my butt will toughen up. On the other hand, I've always have had good luck with flites -- which are not exactly spring supported brooks. Where flites tend to be narrow, almost hatchet like, this seat has a very flat top, so your sit bones are going to ride on top of it rather than snugging down. For just a few grams more and a several dollars less, you can get a more comfortable seat, and as comfort has a big impact on efficiency & performance, that might be a smarter choice. The real measure of this seat will be on the back side of a century. I will re-post further into the season. In the meantime, for weight and star wars styling... this seat is very cool.

(More customer reviews)I've been doing a lot of research on seats because i don't want to become impotent resulting from excessive bike riding. I've tried 3 other seats and all of them make my private area go numb after about 30 - 40 min. or riding, which is cutting off my circulation to my juevos. Though I do sit up straight with no hands a lot which puts more pressure on my private area, I'm aware that sitting this way is bad. None the less, I still found a seat that is the most comfortable so far, and I'm not going numb even when I sit up straight. It's a great design that allows you to put most of your weight on your bum, not your crotch. It comes with an inflatable middle piece to fill in the crotch space but I didn't bother using it. Works fine without it. I've been riding 1 hour and a half workouts and this thing is awesome. Definitely worth the money. I approve. I only gave it 4 stars because I know I could be a bit MORE comfortable with some minor changes.

Schwinn No Pressure Bicycle Seat Review

(More customer reviews)I bought a Raleigh GRUV bicycle a few months ago so I could do some riding with my girlfriend. The GRUV is an odd looking machine, but it was absolutely the most comfortable bike I test rode. Having not been on a bicycle for over 25 years, I wanted to build some endurance before I got together with my gal for a pleasant weekend ride. After my short "practice" rides in the evenings, I suffered from some mild but noticeable numbness in unmentionable, "manly" areas. I never suffered from this when I was a youngster, so I figured it would pass after I got used to riding again. I figured wrong. I went for my much anticipated weekend "date ride" (about 10 miles worth of nice, paved trails). By the end of the trip, the "comfortable" stock seat on that bike had caused many miserable and painful "sensations". So I did some research and came-up with the Schwinn No Pressure Bicycle Seat. Ordered it right here off of Amazon. Installed easily on the seat post that came with the bike. Took a bit of adjusting to get the height set where I wanted it. It seems more comfortable when it is positioned a little lower than a regular style seat. GOOD LORD what a difference! It does take a bit of getting use to, but once you get the feel of it, you'll love it!! Now I can ride for hours and when I'm done, I don't feel like an alien abduction victim who's been "probed". It's not a 100% solution to the "male pressure" problem - but pretty darn close!! If you're a casual bike rider, looking for a comfortable seat, give this one a shot. I'm betting you (and your private parts) will be much pleased and satisfied!!
